Autodesk Inventor Certifications
Inventor certification is available in two levels: ACU and ACP. The certifications differ by amount of experience and skill using Inventor. ACU is not required for ACP certification, but it is strongly recommended.
Autodesk Certified User (ACU): Inventor
Autodesk Certified User ( ACU ) level certification validates one's software skills and competency with Autodesk Inventor software. ACU certification typically requires about 150 hours of real-world Autodesk Inventor software experience.

Certification Exam
Autodesk Inventor ACU
To earn Autodesk Inventor certification you must pass the required authorized exam. ACU certification exams are available through Pearson VUE. Students can register for the exam directly with Pearson VUE or via their Autodesk Account. ACU Exams are 30 questions with a duration of 50 minutes.

Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP): Inventor
Autodesk Certified Professional ( ACP ) Inventor certification is for those who possess advanced Inventor skills (typically 1200 hours of real-world experience) and can solve complex challenges in workflow and design. This certification assesses a professional user's knowledge of the tools, features, and tasks with Inventor. Those who earn this certification have demonstrated a general understanding of the following topics: Drawing and organizing objects; Configuration and administration; Design automation techniques; Standard and advanced part modeling; Assembly modeling; Deliverables Sheet metal; Weldment tools.

Certification Exam
Autodesk Inventor ACP
To earn ACP Inventor certification you must pass the required authorized exam. Autodesk certification exams are available through Pearson VUE. Students can register directly for the exam with Pearson VUE or their Autodesk Account. ACP exams are 45-60 questions with a duration of 120 minutes.

Certification is valid for 3 years. Retesting is required to renew certification and must be completed within six months prior to certification expiration date..
