CompTIA Security+ is aimed at IT professionals with career roles such as security architect, security engineer, security consultant/specialist, information assurance technician, security administrator, systems administrator, and network administrator.

Security+ Recertification | CompTIA CE Program
CompTIA Security+ has globally-recognized ISO/ANSI accreditation status. As part of the accreditation requirements, this certification expires every three years if not renewed.
You can renew certification through the CompTIA CE Program which includes completing continuing education activities.
