Cisco Certification Learning Paths & Requirements
Cisco certification program includes Associate, Specialist, Professional and Expert level credentials. The associate-level CCNA certification requires passing a single exam (200-301). At the professional level, candidates can earn CCNP certification by passing two exams—the core exam + one concentration exam.
Passing proctored exams at the professional and expert levels earns Cisco Certified Specialist certifications so you get recognized every step of the way.

Cisco Certified CCNA with Exam Voucher (200-301)
Achieving CCNA certification is the first step in preparing for a career in Cisco IT technologies. To earn CCNA certification, you pass one (1) exam that covers a broad range of fundamentals for IT careers based on the latest networking technologies, software development skills, and job roles.

This course helps you prepare to take the 200-301 Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam. By passing this one exam, you earn the CCNA certification. This fully interactive instructor-led training (ILT) is live and hands-on and includes one voucher to pay for the authorized certification exam.

Cisco CCNA Certification Exam
To earn CCNA Certification you must pass exam 200-301 Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNA)
Authorized Cisco certification exams are available through Pearson Vue. Students schedule their exams directly with Pearson Vue .
CCNA Recertification
CCNA certification is valid for three years. To recertify, a CCNA needs to do one (1) of the following:
- Pass any one Associate exam
- Pass any one professional concentration exam
- Pass one technology core exam
- Pass one CCIE lab exam
- Earn 30 Continuing Education (CE) credits
It is your responsibility to recertify on time. Cisco does not provide extensions. Individuals with expired certification(s) must repeat the entire certification exam process in order to regain their certification(s) status.
CCNP Enterprise
CCNP Enterprise includes automation and programmability to help you scale your networking infrastructure. The new CCNP Enterprise certification replaces the prior CCNP Routing and Switching, CCNP Wireless, and CCDP certifications.
Each exam passed in the new CCNP Enterprise program earns an individual Specialist certification, so you get recognized for your accomplishments along the way.
There are no formal prerequisites for CCNP Enterprise, but you should have a very good understanding of the exam topics before attempting the exam. CCNP candidates often also have three to five years of experience implementing enterprise networking solutions.
To earn CCNP Enterprise certification you must pass the Core exam PLUS one (1) enterprise Concentration exam.
