Additional Partners Providing Classes via RCI in Ohio, Indiana, Louisiana and Texas
Additional Partners Offer Remote Classroom Instruction
Providing Courses via RCI in Ohio, Indiana, Louisiana & Texas
Wilmington, DE—December 15, 2006—ONLC Training Centers announced today that
several new training companies have aligned with its Remote Classroom Instruction
(RCI) technology, expanding the availability of RCI training to classrooms in
Ohio, Indiana, Louisiana and Texas in addition to New England and Mid Atlantic
regions. The new companies are Babbage Simmel in Columbus, OH, MAX Technical Training
in Cincinnati, OH, Signal Learning in West Bend and Indianapolis, IN, and Momentum
with locations in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, LA, and San Antonio, TX.
ONLC
Now Delivering Classroom Training in Multiple Regions
"Our customers
depend on us to provide training that has a low probability of being cancelled,"
said Joan Good, ONLC Partner Relations Manager. "Many of these larger clients
are looking for similar cancel-free training solutions outside of the Northeast
and Mid Atlantic regions. With our expanded partnerships, our clients can now
get that training outside of our area."
Solving the Industry-Wide
Class Cancellation Problem
As a regional training company with a single
location, MAX Technical Training often had difficulty getting high enough enrollments
to run certain classes. But by partnering with ONLC Training Center's RCI technology,
they are able to link their classrooms to ONLC events and run classes—even
with only a single student enrolled. Denise Bartick, President and CEO of MAX
Technical Training said the partnership with ONLC Training Centers has been a
win-win situation for everyone. "We both have generated more business and
are able to keep our customers happy," Bartick said.
Helping Businesses
Recover and Expand
As businesses in Louisiana have been getting back on
their feet after hurricane Katrina, demand for technical training is lower than
pre-Katrina levels. This presented a challenge for Momentum, because the company
did not want to cancel classes in their Baton Rouge and New Orleans offices, even
if it meant running classes at below break-even revenue. ONLC Training Centers
offered Momentum a solution that enabled them to combine enrollments from their
two locations in Louisiana. RCI technology has even helped Momentum expand to
a third location in San Antonio, Texas. Although Momentum's primary method of
training is traditional classroom instruction, RCI affords them a great option
for students in low-enrollment classes.
ONLC—An Industry Leader
"We
are now in our third year of delivering RCI training and have trained over 2,000
people in classrooms without instructors physically present," said Andy Williamson,
CEO of ONLC Training Centers. "We've worked out many of the initial technical
challenges. Now we are seeing other training companies reaching out to ONLC to
help them improve customer satisfaction by reducing cancellations."
