Citrix Names ONLC their Citrix Authorized Learning Center of the Quarter
ONLC
Named Top Citrix Training Company
Receives Award for North America
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — October 1, 2006— Citrix Systems,
the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, announced today it has awarded
ONLC Training Centers with the Citrix Authorized Learning Center (CALC) of the
Quarter award.
The
award, measured by the number of students trained, revenue generated, and the
quality of program compliance, recognized ONLC Training Centers' outstanding performance
in providing flexible training services in Citrix technology using both traditional
classroom instruction and Remote Classroom Instruction (RCI) technology.
"Citrix
recognized ONLC Training Centers with the CALC of the Quarter award for their
innovative internet-based training delivery using RCI technology and their steady
increase in sales," said Steve Pace, Citrix's Manager of Education Sales.
Innovative
Delivery of Citrix Training
ONLC Training Centers is able to take students
from sites with low Citrix enrollments and have them join instructor-led classes
at other locations with its Remote Classroom Instruction
(RCI).
"By combining our Citrix enrollments, we cancel fewer classes," according to Andy Williamson, CEO of ONLC Training Centers. "In addition, RCI allows us to bring authorized Citrix training to many convenient classrooms throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Not only do we deliver that training in our classroom facilities, but students can also learn directly from their home or locations throughout the US."
RCI is not like the traditional "distance learning" or "e-learning" classes. RCI is centered on classroom instruction, and as a result, the flow and feel of the class is almost exactly the same as regular instructor-led training.
