Moving Its Suburban Philadelphia, PA Location
Conshohocken
Site Expands and Relocates to Wayne
CONSHOHOCKEN,
PENNSYLVANIA— October 25, 2006 - ONLC Training Centers announced that
it is relocating and expanding its suburban Philadelphia, PA location by moving
the Conshohocken training center to Wayne, PA.
ONLC Training
Centers
992 Old Eagle School Road, Suite 920
The Woods Office Park
Wayne,
PA 19087
On December 1, 2006, the company will be operating
from its new site in "The Woods" Office Park off Old Eagle School Road
in Wayne. The new facility will have 5 classrooms, the largest accommodating 16
students. The company's former site in Conshohocken will close when the Wayne
facility is opened.
"We
are looking forward to the move," stated Patti Cataldi, the site manager
in Conshohocken. "Although our current site is great, we will be able host
more students in our new facility," she added.
ONLC
just finished an 18-month lease at the Conshohocken location and has made a 3-year
commitment to the Wayne space. "It's hard to predict the demand for training,"
stated Andy Williamson, CEO of ONLC Training Centers. "Although some segments
of the IT training industry have been declining as much as 25 percent in the past
year, we've experienced over a 25 percent increase each year for the past two
years. We hope that our expanded Wayne location will accommodate the demand for
our training over the next 3 years," he continued.
To
outfit the new classrooms, ONLC is switching to Intel's Core 2 Duo CPU chip set
in its student computers. "Many of our classes are running on virtual machine
technology. These new CPU chips have the capacity for hardware-driven virtualization.
The bottom-line from a student's perspective is that these machines will be significantly
faster that previous Intel CPU chips," according to Bruce Balogh, the company's
facility specialist responsible for hardware selection.
The new Wayne location will continue to host public classes for authorized training for software vendors such as Microsoft, Citrix, Novell, and CWNP wireless training.
The Training You Want,
Where You Want It
"Our
Wayne expansion will make us more accessible for clients in the Great Valley and
Exton areas.," stated Jim Palic, President at ONLC Training Centers. "In
addition, we will still have our Willow Grove site as an alternative for customers
north and east of our previous Conshohocken site," he continued. Other ONLC
Training locations in Pennsylvania include Philadelphia, Willow Grove, and Pittsburgh
(in cooperation with a training partner).
Several classrooms in the new space have been designed to hold 2 to 4 students for Remote Classroom Instruction (RCI) events. RCI is the company's technology for combining enrollments from multiple locations. This allows them to cancel fewer events and deliver training to locations that wouldn't normally have enough enrollments to run with an instructor present. With RCI students can get local hands-on instructor-led training without having to incur significant travel costs.
